Scholarship Fund: The scholarship fund starts with $500 of initial funding from our founder, Roman Melikov. To further support this initiative, 5% of the earnings from each SHSAT prep class conducted by Smart Way Learning Center will be added to the scholarship fund.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Enrollment Requirement:

   • Students must be enrolled in Smart Way Learning Center for at least 1 month prior to taking the SHSAT. This ensures that students have sufficient time to benefit from our comprehensive SHSAT prep program.

2. Score Requirement:

   • Students must achieve a score of 600 points or more on the SHSAT. This benchmark signifies a high level of proficiency and readiness for specialized high schools.

3. Proof of Score:

   • Students must provide official proof of their SHSAT score to verify their eligibility for the scholarship. This can be a copy of the official score report issued by the testing authority.

4. Prize Distribution:

   • If more than one student scores 600 points or more, the prize money will be split equally among the qualifying students. This ensures that all high-achieving students receive recognition and support.

5. Attendance Requirement:

   • Students must have attended at least 80% of their scheduled SHSAT prep classes. Consistent attendance demonstrates commitment and maximizes the benefits of our prep program.

6. Continuous Enrollment:

   • Students must remain continuously enrolled in the SHSAT prep program until the scholarship is awarded. This rule ensures ongoing engagement and effort in preparation for the SHSAT.

7. Good Standing:

   • Students must be in good academic and behavioral standing within Smart Way Learning Center. This includes maintaining a positive attitude, respecting peers and instructors, and demonstrating a strong work ethic.

8. Application Process:

   • Students must complete a scholarship application form and submit it along with their proof of score. The application form will collect necessary details to confirm eligibility and facilitate the scholarship award process.

9. Scholarship Fund:

   • The scholarship fund will grow by 5% of earnings from each SHSAT prep class conducted by Smart Way Learning Center. This ongoing contribution ensures the sustainability and growth of the scholarship fund.

10. Announcement of Winners:

    • Scholarship winners will be announced within one month of receiving the official SHSAT scores. Timely announcements allow students to plan their educational expenses accordingly.

11. Official Ceremony:

    • There will be an official ceremony held within 2 weeks after the results are posted to honor all the scholarship recipients and other high-achieving students. This ceremony will celebrate their hard work and achievements.

12. Use of Scholarship:

    • Scholarship funds can be used for educational purposes such as tuition, books, electronics or other school-related expenses. This flexibility ensures that the scholarship supports the students' academic needs.
